Bistro 13 is the product of hard work and talent from the students in the East Valley Institute of Technology Culinary program. Using skills learned in the classroom, students run the entire restaurant, cooking and serving the spot's signature brand of home-grown global cuisine. Student-chefs sprinkle sliced mangoes atop Hawaiian street tacos or tuck Thai-spiced grilled mahi mahi into sandwiches. Other dishes include five-spice crispy tofu noodle bowls and the Dr. D's mac 'n' cheese, tossed with house-smoked chicken and creamy roasted pepper cheese sauce. The menu offers low-carb, vegetarian, and gluten-free options as well.
Guests can eat inside the bistro—decorated by EVIT Interior and Design students—or pre-order their food and pick it up at the bistro’s drive-thru window or designated air drop spot.
