About Bistro Parisien
Born in Northeastern France, Bistro Parisien founder Stephane Kane returns to his roots every time he steps into the kitchen. Along with his wife Maria, Kane oversees a season-centric menu that Westchester Magazine calls "straight out of a French cookbook" and Lohud.com dubs "phenomenal." This means plenty of French staples, such as steamed mussels with garlic and parsley and coq au vin—chicken stew in red wine sauce with caramelized onions. More than the food, though, Bistro Parisien strikes a chord with diners for its warm, homey atmosphere. Carpeted floors, eclectic plates, and quirky salt-and-pepper shakers give the restaurant the feel of a countryside home, and limited seating helps maintain a cozy intimacy.
