Peruvian-based Teatro Hugo e Ines has spent three decades crafting imaginative characters and now they bring their Short Stories tour to Germantown's BlackRock Center for the Arts. The duo combines mime, dance and puppetry in creative pieces that play out the poetic moments of daily life. Hugo Suarez and Bosnia-Herzegovina-born Ines Pasic have performed throughout the world -- from the Henson International Festival of Puppet Theater to The Kennedy Center to the International Festival for Children in Singapore. They've also appeared regularly on PBS children's series Between the Lions. See the show that the Los Angeles Times calls an "unfailingly whimsical theater-of-marvels."
This production is recommended for children ages 10 and older.
