Parking was organized, but very slow (25 min, which put me 25 min past gates opening). There were three separate lines to divide out ticket types (a Groupin line included! :) ), making entrance relatively quick and straightforward for everyone. The girl who checked me in was energetic and friendly, and careful to ensure that I understood how the Groupon worked as I was not using all of the admissions in one visit (which I already knew, but I appreciated her excellence in this). It did not feel overcrowded once walking around in the zoo. Several animals which have been inactive when I have gone earlier in the day were active, which was awesome! It was a positive experience, and I hope to go again.

Great event! Although, next year I will go earlier in the season since the animals are put away at dusk.

Great event. Would suggest to have more stations for craft beers as I am not a big fan of coors and budlight. Food was delicious.

Zoo and entertainment were great! Need faster service on beer. The lines were so long and staff seemed to be taking their time serving beer.

I enjoyed Zoo Brew with a group of friends but it definitely wasn't the full zoo experience. A lot of animals were already off exhibit. The price of admission using the Groupon was much better than full price and made it affordable for anyone. Drinks were priced well but there was not enough food available from the tents other than the zoo's own food stand. Great band playing, fun atmosphere, overall good experience.

About Zoo Brew at Blank Park Zoo

Blank Park Zoo educates the public about the wonders of the wild by re-creating far-flung habitats and ecosystems that house more than 1,000 animals and 104 different species ranging from Siberian tigers to hissing cockroaches. Zookeepers lead chats about animals and offer conservation tips. Recent new arrivals welcome curious kids to commiserate with the growing pains and early bedtimes of young wallabies, camels, and seal pups, setting a foundation for learning that may be continued in classes designed for those aged 6 months to 5 years.

In addition to raising awareness about the environment, Blank Park Zoo contributes to conservation efforts to preserve the future of native animals and their natural homes. The zoo participates in seven endangered-species breeding programs and donates a portion of admissions proceeds to several different wildlife initiatives.
