What You'll Get
Winter’s cold has two upsides: blanketing hills in fluffy snow and thinning the population of curious children by sticking their tongues to steel poles. Discover all cold weather’s benefits with today’s Groupon to Blank Skate + Snow. Choose between the following options:
- For $20, you get a tune-up for skis or a snowboard (a $40 value). Tune-ups include the following services:
- Base cleaning and grading
- Edge sharpening
- Hand iron waxing
- Structure brush finishing

- For $25, you get $50 worth of gear and apparel.

The professional board sport team at Blank’s more than 30-year-old shop revitalizes winter gear and equips patrons with items specialized for skate, surf and snow. For tune-ups, a professional ski or snowboard wrangler hand cleans and grades each board’s friction fighting base. Deft digits sharpen up edges, wield an iron to wax surfaces by hand, and end the winter sport makeover with a structure brush to enhance each board’s finish. Shoppers can break from snow-based mobility to roll down side streets atop a stylish new skateboard deck ($35+). Wheels, trucks, and bearings ($20+) keep decks from turning into a fancy doorstop. Boarders can also outfit themselves in a selection of T-shirts, hats, and skateboard shoes ($29+) or use them to dress skateboards for a last minute date to the movies.

About Blank Skate + Snow
Though the world around Blank Skate + Snow has changed dramatically since the shop first opened in 1978, the team holds firm to its roots. Committed to carrying only trusted snowboard, long board, skateboard, and surf gear, they strictly avoid less-than-quality equipment, while maintaining a promise to never become a "clothing-skateboard store." To that end, staffers give skateboards and snowboards by Canadian manufacturers top priority in the shop, along with trucks, wheels, bearings, boots, and wax by companies such as Endeavor and Never Summer. They also keep their clients’ snowboards and skis maintained each season by edging boards and waxing away winter stubble.
