$389 for an IAD parachute adventure for two (a $630 value)
Each parachutist will be making an Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD) jump, which means they will exit the aircraft at about 5,000 feet up, enjoying six to seven minutes of solo parachute flight. A certified IAD instructor will provide radio guidance to help the adventurer make his or her way to a landing spot in the Shenandoah Valley. But before the exhilaration of the ride down, each parachutist must take a classroom training session wherein a USPA-certified instructor teaches the finer points of parachute control, parachute landings, and operation of their single-harness, dual-parachute system. Each adventurer will also receive $50 toward Blue Ridge's accelerated-free-fall first-jump course.
