The Range

• A 50-foot indoor range with 10 firing points, where visitors can shoot 22 caliber pistols and rifles • An outdoor range with covered areas for black-powder, smallbore or centerfire rifle, shotgun, and pistol shooting, with targets from 7- to 100-yards • An open field for shotgun practice with a foot trap or hand-thrown clay birds • A private range with 40 points on paved asphalt with target placement up to 50 yards away

Since 1955, the family-owned gun shop of Blue Trail Range has been helping customers find their next favorite firearm for hunting, competitions, and target shooting. More recently, it also began leasing handguns, which holders of a Connecticut pistol permit can rent for practice at Blue Trail's indoor or outdoor range.
