Before man conquered his fear of water, he amused himself with dust sports such as pushing boulders off cliffs, wrestling tumbleweeds, and falling in the dust. Rinse yourself off with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $19 for a snorkeling class (a $50 value)
- $99 for a scuba-certification course (a $235 value)
During the one-night snorkeling class, students dive in a pool to master the basics of swimming with a mask, fins, and snorkel, all brought by the customer. The gear can also be rented or purchased from Blue Water Aquatics.
The scuba-certification course sends students through classroom and pool sessions, as well as one weekend of ocean training composed of four open-water dives. In the classroom sessions, students work through reading materials and workbooks to learn the essential skills before moving to the open water. Students must provide their own snorkeling gear. The remaining equipment can be rented from Blue Water for $60. Customers must also pay the certification license processing fee ($30) and purchase course materials ($70) prior to class.
