Q:

My 13 year old son is getting his braces off in 2 weeks and has asked about teeth whitening. Is this deal something he could use?

Karie E.  asked on  Jul 23, 2012

A:

Hi Karie! Yes, your 13 year old could use this product. During the consultation I will better be able to see the condition of the teeth once the braces are removed. Thanks for your question.

Q:

You have a 2 per person limit. Is this for the whitening gel? I thought the trays could be used over and over agian?? Kristy

Kristy E.  asked on  Jul 21, 2012

A:

Hi Kristy! You are right. The trays that are made can be used over and over again as long as they fit. If for whatever reason the tray doesn't fit after so long or if you lose them, I will remake them for you. The limit 2 is in regards to if someone wanted to purchase additional packaged deals for a family or friend at that special price. Thanks for your question.

Q:

Does this work on Veneers?

Cathy D.  asked on  Jul 20, 2012

A:

Hi Cathy, thanks for your question. Joseph is correct. To add to that, it won't work on fillings either. Typically if someone has fillings in the front they will bleach and get to their desired shade and then replace the filling. People have done that with crowns too. If there are one or two old crowns in the front and the rest of the smile is natural teeth, they have elected to bleach, then match the new fillings or new crown to the bleached teeth.

A:

Whitening products do not work on veneers, bridges, or any artificial tooth; only on enamel.

Q:

How long do they trays have to stay on the teeth each day or night?

Gary D.  asked on  Jul 20, 2012

A:

Hi Gary! Typically I recommend 1-2 times a day for 30 minutes. With the product we use, there is a built-in desensitizer that you won't find in other products on the market. Therefore, sometimes that 30 minutes can be extended. It's mostly just based on your comfort level and desired results. Thank you for your question.
