What You'll Get
Faces act as gatekeepers for incoming food and outgoing laughter, giving them the power to leave our bodies half-starved or bloated with unreleased giggles. Keep your face happy with today’s Groupon: for $179, you get a spa day package at blush a day spa in Sonoma (a $425 total value). The package includes:
- 90-minute LED light-therapy facial (a $275 value)
- 60-minute lotus wei massage (a $95 value)
- Glamour girl pedicure (a $55 value)<p> This package can be used by one person or two people can choose to split these services.
Visitors to blush navigate the grapey-purple fields of wine country to arrive at a warm-hued spa, where they don robes and slippers and sip hot teas and mineral water while awaiting services that promise to both relax and beautify. The 90-minute light-therapy facial combines the power of a non-invasive LED light treatment with one of five facials, each specially designed to address a certain skin malady. Using a Max7 apparatus, the 30-minute custom LED treatment penetrates epidermal layers to help to treat flesh flaws such as acne, droopy epidermis, stagnant collagen production, broken capillaries, and skin crinkles. Clients can add to these benefits by choosing to tone down oily and problem areas with the Purifying Plus facial or calm skin battling rosacea or amplified sensitivity with the Get the Red Out facial. The Complexion Perfection facial battles blemishes, and the hydrating-collagen and super-firm facials tighten visages in a manner less conspicuous than clothes-pinning them in place.
The custom strokes of the 60-minute lotus wei massage help to channel positive energy through the body’s meridians to help get mind, body, and hooky-playing soul back on track. The aromatic flower extracts used during the massage smooth the way for soothing effleurage strokes to warm up muscles and work out tension, resulting in greater overall health and ease of movement. The Glamour Girl pedicure’s aromatherapy foot scrub continues to cosset the body in soothing scents, and a moisturizing mask follows to soften calluses the way a steel umbrella softens the impact of a comet. The foot sitter then uses warm towels to remove the mask before applying designer polish to toe shields.

About Blush a Day Spa
After completing her advanced aesthetics training at the Scuola d'Estetica Dorabruschi in Italy, owner Dolores De Alba brought her passion for skincare back to wine country, opening the complexion-focused blush a day spa with her husband and spa co-owner James. After entering the soft-colored salon, patrons slip into cozy robes and slippers and peruse a skin-perfecting treatment menu while sipping hot tea, volcanic mineral water, or champagne. Exotic ingredients pervade each treatment, with papaya, grapeseed, green tea, and rose clay extracted from Provence and sprinkled with rose buds helping technicians exfoliate skin, soothe musculature, and rebalance the body’s energies. The salon offers special packages for teens, brides-to-be, and men in need of TLC, customizing treatments to boost confidence or ease muscles sprained during staring contests.
