What You'll Get
Until mankind first stepped outside in 1934, nature was thought to be a fanciful myth, like yogurt or the clutch hitter. Spend a few hours sailing through the fresh air of truth with today's Groupon: for $99, you get a four-hour boat rental (up to 22 feet) from The Boat Fleet, located at the new Northlake Marina in North Palm Beach (a $199 value). Membership is not required to purchase this deal. A $300 damage deposit is required with every rental.
The Boat Fleet, an exclusive organization for seafarers, houses a wide assortment of boats that crews of up to 12 can hop aboard and take to the high seas. One of three ships ferry passengers to sights that include Peanut Island, Sailfish Marina, the West Palm Beach waterfront, and the mysterious hand that sometimes rises from shallow waters to throw corn chips at passing boats. Patrons can load into a 22-foot Stardeck ship or the 21-foot Glastron deck boat, which features wraparound seating on the bow for skiing or maritime tug-of-war contests. Passengers can hop inside a 21-foot Sailfish center console to embark on fishing expeditions with up to five people and take advantage of the stainless-steel rod holders and water well for live bait. Rentals are available from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. every day. Weekend slots fill up quickly, so reservations are recommended well in advance.

About The Boat Fleet
Sailors navigate the glittering waters of Palm Beach in one of The Boat Fleet's many vessels, which include center consoles, walkarounds, deck boats, cabin cruisers, and bowriders. Seafaring parties may adventure to nearby Peanut Island, cruise up and down the coast to spot sprawling waterfront mansions, or relax while floating in their private patches of ocean. The 21- to 33-foot boats include rigs equipped for fishing trips—including stainless-steel rod holders, game-spotting GPS, and lures that look like Bugs Bunny in a wig—and all ships stow Coast Guard safety gear and lifeboats aboard.
