What is the difference between a swedish massage and a deep tissue massage
Carol B. asked on Feb 13, 2013
Hello, Carol. The difference between a Swedish massage and a Deep Tissue massage is that a Swedish massage is a full body massage with light to medium pressure and best for relaxation purposes. A Deep Tissue massage is a full body massage used for deep muscle work to release tension, scar tissue, muscle spasms, etc. Deep tissue uses technique rather than just pushing hard on the muscle during massage. I hope that answers your question. If not, feel free to call the spa at 816-509-0190 and a therapist will be happy to speak with you. Thank you for your question.
