It says "Not valid for happy hour specials" What does this mean..

I'm sorry for the delay in answering your question! It means your Groupon cannot be used toward the discounted specials offered during happy hour as Groupons are not valid with other offers or specials.

Would any gratuity be involved , other then the usual sales tax? Because it's , 14-15% of price before coupon.

Q:

Caution: I bought the $30 coupon for $15 and went to the Hotel. They asked me to pay 15% Gratuity and tax where I paid $18 for both. So, for $30 coupon, I end up paying $33. These rules not mentioned or highlighted in the Deal. So, I dont think its a Deal at all, I feel like I am trapped.
