Usually lunch buffet is good. This time they did not refill most of the items after 1 PM. Therefore, go by noon or skip the lunch at this place.

This is my favorite Indian buffet in the Louisville area. The dishes here are much spicier than at the other Indian restaurants; and I love that. The owner is friendly and always ensures your are pleased with your meal - even with a Groupon!

I don't feel my opinion of Indian food is sophisticated enough to say anything bad about Bombay Grill. It's not my favorite Indian restaurant in town, however, any time I've spoken to Indian people in town, they've always said it's their favorite place. It's always full of Indians when I go there, so they must know something that I don't. .

About Bombay Grill

For Bombay Grill's chef-owner Vijay Poojary, all of the flavors of India inspire his cooking. That's why he spends every day cooking the specialties of regional Indian cuisines. He marinates tandoori chicken overnight to give it a spicy tang before sizzling it in the restaurant's tandoor oven and blends Indian and Chinese flavors for chicken dishes. For other entrees, he incorporates lamb or goat in a range of mild to spicy sauces. During the lunch hour, Poojary and his team create a wide spread of these dishes for customers to mix and match. And for a special treat, he stocks Indian and domestic beers to quell the spice of meals.
