What You'll Get
Like your unemployed younger brother, hair can sometimes show up uninvited and refuse to leave. Today’s Groupon will rid you of stray strands with the services of a hair-removal expert: for $12, you get $25 worth of select waxing services at Bombshell Waxing, in Metairie. This Groupon is good for select services, listed in the sidebar.
Bombshell Waxing offers premium bodily waxing services using only the finest-quality European waxes in a fun, flirty Metairie shop. Bombshell's staff of expert strand evacuators promise to apply the warm substance to your delicate dermis with a gentle hand, creating as comfortable an experience as possible for both experienced waxees and novices alike. Send seasonal fur packing by clearing two half arms ($25 each), or get your belly bikini-ready with a happy-trail treatment ($10). If you've tried a bikini wax before ($25) but aren't ready to go for the Brazilian ($60), Bombshell's be-tweenie ($35+) follows a similar line to the bikini wax, just moved in about an inch on each side. The friendly aestheticians will even make your feet and toes more aerodynamic ($14) and deforest your dorsal fin (market price).
The brightly colored shop, founded by a fun-loving Aveda-trained aesthetician, boasts hot pink waxing chambers and a cozy lobby. Call ahead for an appointment and stop in to get swim-trunks ready.

About Bombshell Waxing
With speedy waxologists and specially formulated European waxes made just for its clients, it's no wonder that Bombshell Waxing opened a second location just one year after its inception in 2010. That's also largely due to the passion of owner Shelly Reagon, who is very hands-on with her business and who can often be found in scrubs and an apron herself.
She writes in Sophisticated Woman Magazine that it's important for women to go to a reputable salon for a wax, one that never double-dips its waxes and knows eyebrows aren't just caterpillars napping on the forehead. She also talks about her belief that brows are "sisters, not twins"—that it's most natural and beautiful if brows both look polished, but they don't need to be identical. Another revolutionary idea of hers is that waxing should be an experience a client looks forward to, so her salons offer vajazzling services and onsite boutiques where clients can shop for lingerie that shows off freshly bare skin.
