This place is the epitome of false advertising and deceptive practices, and I feel compelled to warn others about the sheer incompetence and dishonesty that permeates this establishment. First and foremost, let's talk about their blatant disregard for honesty. Like many others, I was drawn in by what seemed like a promising offer on Groupon. However, upon calling to inquire about any potential hidden fees, I was assured by the individual on the phone that the Groupon Voucher covered almost everything, except for the contact lens fitting. Armed with this information, I proceeded to make an appointment. Little did I know, I was stepping into a den of deceit and manipulation. Upon arrival, I was immediately bombarded with requests for my insurance information. Why on earth would they need my insurance card if I had already paid for the contact lens exam upfront? To make matters worse, despite repeatedly informing them that my mother only required frames and already had a valid prescription, they shamelessly attempted to coerce her into undergoing another unnecessary eye exam through her insurance. This blatant disregard for basic customer needs and preferences is utterly appalling. But wait, it gets better. After reluctantly agreeing to pay an additional $50, I was blindsided once again when they casually dropped the bombshell that there was an additional $75 fee on top of the initial charges. Seriously? If they had been upfront about these exorbitant fees from the beginning, I would have taken my business elsewhere. When I dared to confront them about their underhanded tactics, instead of offering an apology or taking responsibility for their actions, they had the audacity to play dumb and act as if they had no idea what I was talking about. Your attempt to feign ignorance only further exposes your deceitful nature. Bonafide Eye Care is nothing more than a scam operation preying on unsuspecting customers. They have zero regard for honesty, transparency, or basic decency. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place like the plague. You've been warned.
