Today's side deal brings a touch of class to the party with a $20 tasting and 25% off catering from Bonsoirée, the fine-dining restaurant in Logan Square that made Food & Wine's 2008 list of the best dining destinations in the world. Though the value of tastings is hard to determine, this side deal not only lets you taste tasty food for 20 bucks, but gives you a quarter-discount off your catering bill, which could amount to a huge savings.
Bonsoirée brings "exquisitely crafted" meals to your event. Each dish draws inspiration from a range of cultures and blends traditional Japanese presentation with classic French techniques. The sample menu promises hors d’oeuvres such as tarragon pear compote with brie triangle, delectable main dishes such as flank steak with braised fennel and slow roasted tomatoes, and accompaniments such as potatoes Dauphinoise. Chef and owner Shin Thompson was recently honored with an invitation to prepare a dinner at the culinary central station, the James Beard Foundation in NYC.
Valid by appointment only. Call to schedule anytime except dinner service: Tuesday–Sunday after 5 p.m.

Bonsoirée has been reviewed in Centerstage Chicago, Examiner.com, Time Out Chicago, and featured in the Chicago Reader. It made Food & Wine's 2008 "Go To" list of dining destinations around the world.
More than 140 Yelpers give Bonsoirée 4.5 stars, and 80% like it on Urbanspoon:
- We had Bonsoiree cater our wedding and it was unbelievable. Chef Luke made the most amazing food, notably the braised short ribs and the grilled escolar still had everyone talking days later. – Drea E., Yelp
- As we began our tasting menu, I began to understand the minimalistic decor - the real art is what comes out of the kitchen and shouldn't be outshined by fancy surroundings. Every serving dish was different and unexpected...It's so much fun to anticipate each dish's arrival! – Emily L., Yelp
