Flipping a tire end over end is both a common boot-camp exercise and a gross misunderstanding of what the wheel was meant to do. Rethink conventions with this Groupon.

Certified fitness instructors motivate students through a series of total-body workouts, including cardiovascular drills—such as high-knees, jumping jacks, side shuffles, and relay races. The outdoor classes are held in the mornings and evenings, Monday–Friday, at one of two parks. Students should bring a yoga mat and set of workout bands to class. New campers will also receive a consultation with a holistic nutritionist as well as a free healthy-eating cookbook.
The fitness specialists who created BoostCamp Bootcamps eschew quick fixes, replacing them with motivating exercise classes and complementary tips on healthy eating habits that clients can use to make life-long changes. During their sessions, trainees run, jump, and side-shuffle their way across Chedoke and Battlefield Parks five days per week. A certified fitness instructor, Barry Vincent, helms the camp and encourages clients of all fitness levels to meet their goals with an ever-changing lineup of rigorous routines that may include partner exercises, agility training, and relay races. Members can attend as many classes as they wish each week, and new campers begin their journey with a nutritional consultation. BoostCamp’s on-staff holistic nutritionist, Tamara Dunn, answers diet inquiries and designs meal plans that can foster weight loss while still providing enough energy to perform squats or jump-rope with an elevator cable.
