Total fitness isn't a solitary activity like making popcorn or lifting weights in the nude. Work out in good company during five boot-camp sessions at Bootcamp 619. Founder and lead trainer Chris Keith is an expert exerciseman with more than 14 years of experience healthifying and musclizing the men and women of San Diego. San Diego Magazine named him Best Personal Trainer (Male) of 2006.
Keith first toned up and slimmed down during his U.S. Navy training at the Naval Training Center. A typical Bootcamp 619 session is similar to an actual day of military physical conditioning. Each combines different exercises tailored to different muscle groups. Workouts include resistance training, calisthenics, obstacle courses, power yoga, kettlebells, and Bosu ball training (click here to see a complete class description). Bootcamp 619's founder and his team will grind you into shape faster than a gym pencil sharpener while they help you help yourself stay healthy and motivated.
Classes take place outdoors at Mission Bay Park, Cowles Mountain, or at the San Diego Convention Center, where Keith has developed nearly 50 different stair drills. The indoor boot camps take place at Bootcamp 619's state-of-the-art fitness training facility in Linda Vista. The schedule has morning and evening classes scheduled throughout the week. Buy two Groupons and get doublefit over the course of 10 classes.
