72 acres of outdoor playing fields host array of bunkers & obstacles for all-day play with unlimited air

Paintball is like a production of Hamlet: it's exciting, demanding, and by the end, everyone has pretend-died. Play up your painted performance with today's Groupon: for $20, you get admission, rental gear, unlimited air, and 500 paintballs at Boss Paintball in Locust (a $43.15 value, including tax). This Groupon is good for all-day play during walk-on open-play days, which are currently scheduled on weekends throughout the season and excludes special events notated in red.

A paintball artist's haven, Boss Paintball is patchworked with 72 acres of outdoor, bunker-laden landscape over which referees rule. Whether you're peeping your barrel out of the fortified windows in New Town or laying paint bear traps in the subterranean reaches of the Hidden Mine, you'll have no shortage of deceptive and inventive ploys to test out. If you heartily splatter your foes with your first 500 paintballs, you can easily restock while the base coat cools in the wind ($18 for 500 paintballs, additional paintballs are not included in the Groupon). Unlike a ride on a seniors-only Love Boat, the strategic sport of paintball allows players age 10 and older.

Participants must sign a waiver. This Groupon is not valid for special events. Groups of 10 or more must call ahead.

About Boss Paintball

The themes of the seven fields sprawled across Boss Paintball’s 35 acres of woods are nothing if not eclectic. Teams may imagine that they are a posse of sheriff’s deputies fighting bandits in the saloon and bank of Dodge City, or a group of unfortunate soldiers caught in a battle in a spooky haunted house. They may even find themselves set head-to-head inside the Ark, a 40-foot boat that holds a maze, a flagpole mast, and two of every action hero. An astroturfed speedball field caters to fast-paced matches and forces players to duck behind inflatable cover on an open course.
