South African-born pianist Kristian Bezuidenhout has been lighting up the classical-music scene since winning first prize in the prestigious Bruges Fortepiano Competition at the age of 21. Now an internationally-renowned concert pianist, Bezuidenhout is joining the Boston Baroque at New England Conservatory to play Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2. They're joined by Romanian-born soprano Ana Maria Labin, who'll perform Beethoven's Ah, Perfido! and Haydn's Scena di Berenice. The concert concludes with Beethoven's most famous and recognizable work, the Fifth Symphony.
