What You'll Get
Like the framework of a mighty skyscraper, the core helps humans hold up the weight of the sky. Stay firm against the firmament with today’s Groupon to Boston Pilates Plus in Lexington. Choose between the following options:
- For $39, you get four SPX Fitness classes (a $100 value).
- For $59, you get eight SPX Fitness classes (a $200 value).<p>
Designed by fitness guru Sebastien Lagree, SPX Fitness’s unique workouts combine the traditional principles of Pilates with strength and cardio training to help students of all abilities sculpt toned physiques. During 45-minute classes offered seven days a week, students perform 25–35 different exercises on Megaformer machines, which target the upper and lower body using a system of springs, pulleys, and a strategically out-of-reach donut dangling on a fishing line. Muscles enjoy their workouts in turns in one- and two-minute stretches to tire fibers to the point of exhaustion, resulting in lithe limbs and trunks that rival the mighty sequoia in terms of strength and tourist admiration. While students need not shell out for special gear, gripping workout socks can provide extra traction during sweat sessions, though tree-frog shoes make an acceptable substitute. Signing up for each class is necessary, as the studio has a limited number of machines.

About Boston Pilates Plus
Boston Pilates Plus's high-intensity fitness classes, designed by fitness guru Sebastien Lagree, combine the traditional principles of Pilates with strength and cardio training to help students of all abilities sculpt toned physiques. On the brightly lit studio's gleaming wood floors, students buff up their bods on Megaformer machines, which target the upper and lower body using a system of springs, pulleys, and a strategically out-of-reach donut dangling on a fishing line. Students tone their muscles as joints and connective tissue breathe easy in the fat-burning, low-impact classes. For a more cardio-centric routine, try the barre blast class, which guides students through a low-impact workout that blends cardio, barre stretches, and strength training. Boot camps similarly focus on cardio, meeting twice a week for four weeks to romp through 30 minutes of intense exercise.
