What You'll Get
At a time when junior-high- and high-school-dropout rates are at an alarming high, young people face increasing obstacles to quality job prospects and self-sustainability. The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound offers young people a variety of resources designed to help them stay in school, avoid negative influences, build character, and make good choices.
The Boys & Girls Clubs’ academic, arts, and lifestyle programs assist kids 6–18 in myriad ways. Tutoring sessions can give students the extra help they need to grapple with difficult material and reading and writing projects can bolster youths' communication skills. The club also features technology programs; photography, drama, and other arts-related clubs; and health and life-skill programs designed to help students make good personal lifestyle choices. Taken as a whole, the clubs’ programming helps students improve their education, fill their free time with constructive activities, and steer a positive course for their lives. Although there is a standard fee associated with club membership, kids are never turned away because of an inability to pay.
Join G-Team and donate $10 to help the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound facilitate youth access to its positive programming. If G-Team members raise $360, the Boys & Girls Clubs can sponsor six teens, allowing them to participate in programs for one year at no cost. Each additional $60 raised will sponsor an additional teen for one year.
Unlike traditional Groupon deals, G-Team campaigns typically don't offer you a "discount" or "savings." So "buyer" beware—when you click "Buy" to donate your time or money to a worthwhile G-Team cause, the only discount you may receive is 100% off free, priceless karma. Read more about G-Team.
