$99 for a Women’s Golf Clinic on Mother’s Day Weekend ($200 Value)
From Brad Pluth’s learning center at Halla Greens, golfers gain insight into the game in a comprehensive three-hour golf clinic. After a tour of the facility, pupils learn golf rules and strategy and the technical aspects of both the short game and the full swing and can then attend club demos to find the brand with most effective putter. Each session will have a maximum of an 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio, ensuring each pupil gets an opportunity for individual feedback and to look their pro in the eye when asking whether or not golf balls feel pain. Players depart with a binder filled with golf notes, tips, coupons, and specials (a $100 value). Call ahead to sign up for one of the following sessions:
- Friday, May 11: 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (beginners); 1:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. (intermediate and advanced)
- Saturday, May 12: 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (intermediate and advanced); 1:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. (beginners)
- Sunday, May 13: 1:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. (beginners, intermediate, and advanced)<p>
Brad Pluth Golf
Brad Pluth Golf has earned the PGA’s golf clap of approval by using high-tech equipment to give players an edge. The golf emporium’s custom club fittings rely on the Ping nflight system, a virtual modeling system that produces club-head specs precisely calibrated for each golfer’s swing. Other training approaches include the biomechanical swing analysis, which evaluates players’ techniques so they know how to correct their slices or compensate for the fact that they’re hitting with a cricket bat. In addition to private and semi-private adult lessons, youth leagues ready clubbers as young as 4 to play nine holes and participate in tournaments.
