Without elegant cabinetry, homes would feel empty on the inside and be forced to boost their self-esteem by wearing provocative siding and bullying smaller homes. Protect fragile domestic egos with today's Groupon: for $100, you get $1,000 toward kitchen cabinetry from Bradco Kitchens and Baths.
Specializing in eco-friendly design solutions, Bradco Kitchens and Baths outfits kitchens with an elegant selection of customized cabinetry. Bradco’s 6,000-square-foot showroom boasts 20 full-size kitchen displays, each equipped with cabinets from the top manufacturers in the industry, as well as ones from Bradco’s own line of formaldehyde-free custom cabinets. Before visiting the showroom for an initial consultation, customers are asked to analyze and explore their design aspirations by taking rough measurements, making sketches, and deciding how much they’re willing to spend to re-create the mirror image of Julia Child’s kitchen. An experienced designer will then use a state-of-the-art computer program to create a 3-D layout of the new kitchen, allowing homeowners to envision the final product before making a decision.
If homeowners accept the preliminary estimate, they’re asked to submit a nonrefundable design-retainer fee which will go toward their cabinet purchase (usually 10% of the preliminary estimate, $ 1,000 minimum) before Bradco staff completes the design and finalizes the proposal. Customers will then receive a complete set of floor plans, perspective views, elevations, and abstract renderings to give to their installer. Though prices vary for each job, Bradco can outfit a 10’x10’ L-shaped kitchen with upper and base cabinets for $4,600–$12,650, depending on the type of cabinets chosen and whether or not they taste like Fruit Loops. Price estimates include the cost of materials only, and installation costs—not included in today’s Groupon—are generally about $70 per cabinet box.
