Before photography, family memories were kept alive through annual reenactments of the year's best moments, despite Grandpa's continued miscasting as the mischievous puppy. Treasure your memories with today's Groupon: for $42, you get a photo session and one 8”x10” print and two 5”x7” prints from Brandy Metzger Photography (an $85 value). Clients can also upgrade to a boudoir session for additional fees.
Inspired by the birth of a photogenic son, Brandy Metzger nurtured a passion for photography, and now thwarts time’s trek professionally with artful renderings of the engaged, the expecting, the newly arrived, and the genetically bonded. Once you've chosen an indoor or outdoor backdrop, Brandy will meet you there and spend one to two hours encapsulating personalities in frames both posed and candid. She might use professional lighting to bring out the curve in a pregnant woman's belly, or just let natural sunshine infuse a high-school senior's eyes with a hopeful twinkle. Brandy's shooting style accommodates babies if they're more in the mood to sleep and keeps fussy dads from crying during family portraits.
During the two to three days after your session, Brandy pores through each picture and enhances image color and vibrancy with inspired editing, processing, and rad-looking flame trails before uploading 20–30 of the best proofs to a password-protected online gallery. Clients then pick their favorites to be made into one 8”x10” and two 5”x7” prints, which typically arrive within three to four business days.
Brandy Metzger Photography
Brandy Metzger's passion for photography was born on the same day as her first son. Immediately after his arrival, and later, the arrival of her second son, her knack for snapping pictures ballooned from a hobby into a full-blown vocation. Today, at her eponymous studio, the Shreveport native helps others memorialize moments with their newborns.
Outside the studio, families, wedding parties, and mothers-to-be gather during onsite shoots that mix formal poses with doses of spontaneity. Afterward, Brandy returns to her lab, transferring chosen shots onto prints, projecting them into the night sky, or putting them into online galleries, which are perfect for sharing with friends.
