Combining a casual atmosphere with an upscale menu, Brannan's Grill aims to be a refreshing country retreat. The space itself boasts huge, airy windows, almost always thrown open to let in a breeze that wafts over plates of gourmet cuisine: bloody mary oyster shooters with chili lime foam, full racks of baby back ribs over pineapple cucumber salad, or pan-seared king salmon accompanied by panko fried rock shrimp.
Nestled as it is in California wine country, where clouds of green grapes fill the sky, Brannan's Grill naturally features an its extensive wine list. Owners Ron Goldin and Mark Young curate the selection to represent the unique terroir of local and international soils, assembling an array of more than 60 wines, from sparkling rosés to complex bordeauxs.
