Along the way, they ford rivers, glimpse beaver ponds, and drink in panoramic views of the continental divide. Rides leave the barn every hour on the hour, except noon, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children 3 and younger can ride double with an adult for $30. Dinner rides take horseback voyagers on the same 1.5-hour trail ride, but end at the stable’s all-you-can-eat dinner buffet for a one-hour meal. Riders leave the barn at 4 p.m., and are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to sign in. Trail rides take place starting May 23 and run through September 30.

About Breckenridge Stables
At Breckenridge Stables, a herd of more than 100 steeds are available for scenic trail rides, Western-style lessons, and historical tours of the town. As horses deftly navigate the Tenmile Range, guides point out local wildlife along the Continental Divide and riders take in the breathtaking Breckenridge scenery. During colder months, Breckenridge Stables' custom-built mountain sleighs keep passengers snuggly during sleigh rides as a team of Belgian or Percheron horses canters through the Colorado air.
