What You'll Get
Until mankind first stepped outside in 1934, nature was thought to be a fanciful myth, like yogurt or the clutch hitter. Spend some time frolicking through the fresh air of truth with today's Groupon: for $40, you get a 10-punch skating pass with skate rental at Brenton Skating Plaza, a lively outdoor rink located on Robert D. Ray Drive in the East Village. Reflections of nearby downtown lights dance across the surface of Brenton's shiny ice floor, convincing locals to strap on skates and try their own feet at figure-eighting. Feast on crisp, fresh air as you swoosh to energizing tunes and watch glittery snowflakes land triple salchows on the backs of your mittens. The solid-water playground is open every day—including holidays—November through March, with convenient hours to suit everyone in the family's winter schedule.
