What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Brevard County Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a Marital Arts training gym located inside of the Merritt Island Square Mall. Coach Erick Jordan earned his black belt under Casey Oxendine via Helio Soneca and is a recurring champion in MMA, cage fighting, Judo and BJJ. Coach Philip Helmintoller earned his black belt under Erick Jordan and is a BJJ champion as well as trained in MMA, Aikido, Boxing and Wrestling. We offer training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, MMA and Wrestling as well as fitness and self defense for individuals and entire families!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? We wanted to open a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school that was friendly to all who wanted to learn. Injuring ones opponent is never the goal but to help one another learn defense and have a good time doing it. We have created a family friendly environment full of intense training and competition.

What do you love most about your job? Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? When someone has reached their fitness goals and also know how to defend themselves and protect their families. Gold medals are fun too!
