Q:

I've had the brazillian done awhile ago and while it didn't get rid of all the hair, it is definitely thinner and I do not get razor burn. I wish I would have also had my inner thighs done because I get horrible razor burn there too. I saw it only said lower leg on your treatment areas, but I literally only need the inner part of my upper thigh, not the entire thing. Figured I would ask since I'd love to get that done too! Thanks so much!

Laura S.  asked on  Nov 20, 2012

A:

Hi Laura, We would be happy to do your Brazilian and with our Cutera CoolGlide Laser I am sure you will see the hair gone. ( The only reason you would not is if you had a hormonal imbalance, and we have an inhouse endocrinologist that would do a free consult, if that were the case.) The Braziilian is a large area and while not stipulated, we would do your upper thigh as an additional large area. Thus you would need to buy two large areas. Thanks for your question.

Q:

What is the medium package for bikini consist of? How much hair is removed?

Hilary B.  asked on  Nov 18, 2012

A:

Good morning, Hillary. The bikini package is six treatments of the Cutera Coolglide laser spaced 4 to six weeks apart. The laser beam follows the hair shaft down to the follicle , thereby damaging the follicle so future hair will not be formed. If necessary, we have a free consultation with an endocrinologist, (who is in WHO's WHO in America ), who has surgically lasered patients for 30+ years . If he feels there may be endocrine issues, you will have a free consult with the doctor. Thanks for a great question!

Q:

Hi, I would like to know if it is safe in pregnant women. The area that I am looking to get it for is the lower legs? I am not pregnant right now but planning to soon

Amelie T.  asked on  Nov 16, 2012

A:

Hi Amelie, What a good question and how appropriate to ask this question to our office! We are a reproductive endocrine practice (infertility and OB Gyn. ) The question is "when are you planning to get pregnant"? Officially, the literature says if you are pregnant , you should not be lasered. If you do these treatments, you are committed to 6 months (6 treatments, 1 a month). So the question is really your time frame. Even though we would hold the remaining treatments if you got pregnant, the results are better when the treatments are consistent. Good luck to you! Q:

What if i want a partial brazilian, would that be a large or a medium area?

Argyroula S.  asked on  Nov 16, 2012

A:

Good morning Argyroula, Our scheduled procedure is a full Brazilian. It would be difficult to define partial from full. Thus, we offer a Brazilian as a whole procedure that is large. Thanks for the question!

Q:

I previously had 6 brazilian treatments and have some regrowth. Can I purchase medium price package since it is a lighter growth?

laurie w.  asked on  Nov 16, 2012

A:

Unfortunately, there are many different types of lasers and some are much more effective than others. We are excited that we have a Cutera Cool Glide that will definitely eliminate the hair as well as, if not better, than other lasers. Our Dr., who selected the laser, has been lasering women's reproductive organs (as he is a fertility surgeon) since the 1980's. Thus he has 30+years experience with lasers.! While we wish we could accommodate your wish, we contractually must make all Brazilians treatments a large area. The good news is -if you do come, you will not ever have to worry about it in the future! Best wishes, Laurie.

Q:

Please define small area, medium area and large area. I am looking to have my chin area done- small or medium?

Andrea L.  asked on  Nov 14, 2012

A:

Hi, Andrea, Thanks for a great question! The areas are defined on the main promotion, under the map of our office location. It says "treatment areas" in blue. Just click on the blue print and it will take you to the listed areas. Thanks. A few people have had trouble locating the treatment areas.
