Q:

It this in office whitening or at home?

shanna w.  asked on  Sep 29, 2012

A:

Shanna, this is in-office. It takes about 75 minutes, and has 3 20 minute bleaching sessions, where you can watch TV or anything else. Please call the office to make the appointment. The only difference between in-office and at-home bleaching is the amount of time it takes.

Q:

Can the Opalescence Teeth-Whitening Treatment be used on crowns or laminates?

Frances T.  asked on  Sep 29, 2012

A:

Neither porcelain nor composite bonding is effected by tooth bleaching. I always recommend to my patients needing dentistry within their smile line to have their teeth bleached first if they have any thought at all of ever having them lighter. Then the dentistry can be made to match their teeth. If the dentistry is older, and it matched your teeth at the time it was placed, it is possible that your teeth have darkened, and that the bleach will lighten up the teeth to their original color, which will match the dentistry you have. Otherwise, whiten your teeth only if you have plans to replace the dentistry if the colors are off. Please give us a call on Monday to discuss this further.

Q:

Can the cleaning be used for children (3 and 5)?

LINDSAY F.  asked on  Sep 29, 2012

A:

We are always happy to see children who can be reasoned with and who will give us the chance to show them they can trust us. If they won't allow us to work on them, we will refer them to a pediatric dentist. Buy the Groupon, and call the office for an appointment.

Q:

To whom it may concern – when looking at this offer, it stipulates that the deal expires October 3. I take this to mean, based on the number of days left to purchase this deal, that the expiration on October 3 is not when redemption needs to take place her but how long the offer to purchase this Groupon will last. Is this correct? Or, is this deal implying that you must purchase and redeem prior to October 3? If the date of redemption is not October 3, what date does this promotional value expire for redemption of this Groupon? Thank you

Joel K.  asked on  Sep 29, 2012

A:

Sheesh, I think you caught Groupon in a rare misprint. Or, I need a better editor. The offer can be bought up to Wednesday, Oct 3, 2012, and EXPIRES a year later, on October 3, 2013. Thanks for catching this.
