Q:

I only want to clean my dress without the preservation so it can be resold. Is that an option? Also, how detailed is the cleaning? Would it cover the make up marks around the collar and the soiled train from pictures?

Stephanie D.  asked on  Oct 27, 2012

A:

Hi Stephanie, The $85 for bridal-gown cleaning or preservation (a $175 value) is your best choice. It includes your choice of cleaning OR preservation. You can read more about the cleaning at: http://www.bridaldebut.com/subcategory/cleaning-and-preservation Please call Bridal Debut in advance to inquire about the specifics in regard to your colar and train as of course, each case in unique. Thanks!

Q:

Does gown preservation mean sealed in a box, never to be opened? Or can it be opened periodically?

Sara B.  asked on  Oct 27, 2012

A:

Hi Sara, You can read more about preservation on Bridal Debut's website at: http://www.bridaldebut.com/subcategory/cleaning-and-preservation Your gown will be packaged in acid free paper which helps prevent yellowing and discoloration, it is then placed on a bust form and packaged in a window display box (measures 20” X 31”) *so you can admire your gown without disturbing it*. Your gown is then placed in a second box to keep all light away from your gown during storage. Thanks!

Q:

The $165. option includes preservation-isn't an extra 80.00 an awful lot to pretty much just wrap it up or what does your preservation mean or include?

Wendy W.  asked on  Oct 27, 2012

A:

Hi Wendy, The regular boxing and preservation charge is $175, and cleaning is recommended beforehand. Your gown will be packaged in acid free paper which helps prevent yellowing and discoloration, it is then placed on a bust form and packaged in a window display box (measures 20” X 31”) so you can admire your gown without disturbing it. Your gown is then placed in a second box to keep all light away from your gown during storage. Bridal Debut does all of the boxing and preservation in house. Thanks!
