Beautiful setting, nice staff, has some challenges but is also an ego builder.

What You'll Get

Long ago, Scottish polo players longed for a game in which they could explore scenic terrain, ride an obedient mechanical horse, and wear more courageously plaid knickers. Marvel in their subsequent invention with today's Groupon to Bridal Falls Golf Club in Rosedale. Choose between the following options:

  • For $39, you get two rounds totalling 18 holes of golf for two with a power cart, valid on weekdays (up to an $84 value).
  • For $47, you get two rounds totalling 18 holes of golf for two with a power cart, valid on weekends and holidays (up to a $94 value).

With recent updates to its course’s well-maintained greens, Bridal Falls Golf Club pits players against the emerald alleyways of a precocious par 64, nine-hole, executive-style golf course. Pairs play two rounds ($27–$32 each) through 4,538 yards of hilly, rambling greens lined with pine-tree groves, curving sand traps, breathtaking mountain views, and wild tee shrubs. Golfers launch moon miniatures down five venerable par 4s and a rowdy band of par 3s, cruising power carts ($30) over rustic wooden bridges, past natural rock features, and through the legs of oddly tall caddies.

Postgame, greens masters can compose victory ballads at the club’s full-service bar and grill or replace the dimples on golf balls that have been fraternizing with sand paper at a covered driving range and expansive grass practice area. Bridal Falls boasts two certified teaching instructors on staff—head professional Rick Maguire and former LPGA tour player Jennifer Greggain.

About Bridal Falls Golf

Framed by the nearly vertical slopes of Mount Cheam, Bridal Falls Golf’s nine-hole executive course tunnels through pine trees across 2,269 yards of forest. From the fairways of the petite par 32, players can overhear the soft rumbling of the nearby Bridal Veil Falls, which augurs the appearance of the Mountain Brook stream on two holes and two large lakes. Rustic wooden bridges span these waterways to provide passage for walkers, carts, and caddies who believe in trolls. Before rounds, duffers can loosen up swings and steady putting strokes with a stint at the covered driving range, practice green, sand bunker, and pitching area.

After a long day of drives, golfers can replenish with dinner and drinks at the full-service bar and restaurant. The club’s head pro Ron Brunelle also sates appetites for straighter shots with various lesson packages.
