Was not worth it. Got this as a surprise for my bf and it was not good. We got there 15 minutes early and the doors were locked. We had to call for someone to come down, which wasted time. Then you need to fill out paperwork and you are brought to a room and told to undress for the massage. Massage was alright, nothing out of the world. Facial was not a deal facial. Made our skin worse.

Ripoff!! My appointment was at 12:30 I showed up at 12 as requested. They had the front door locked, I called the number 5x and no answer. At 1 o’clock someone finally picked up and said “oh I guess I’ll come down” I finally got let in and went upstairs. The package was a 60min massage with custom facial and a “beverage”. The facial was a sheet mask, and I never got a “beverage.”

Cheap and uncomfortable massage beds that kept making noises while you get your massage. The massage didn't relieve any areas of tightness, and I left with my back feeling worse than when I arrived. The facial was equally poor, the attendants didn't let us know what was going on and basically left for 10-15 mins after putting on our masks on. My skin felt absolutely awful the next day, I'm not sure what products they used for the facial but it did not feel quality. Finally, the place is difficult to find from the street, you have to call the front desk and wait outside for someone to come down and let you in, and the room you're getting your treatment in is basically a converted office, so it's tiny, overlooks a loud midtown street, and doesn't even have shades that cover the whole window. Hard to loosen up and immerse yourself in tranquility when sirens tear by every 5 minutes. Would not return.

This place is IT! The nicest people, from the lovely lady at front desk to the amazing masseuses, great massages and THE FACIAL is incredible, at the end of it not only I felt super relaxed but when my husband and me looked at each other we couldn't believe it, we looked 10 years younger (no, seriously). Will definitely go back, these ladies are incredible!

My boyfriend and I had an AMAZING experience! Would 100% highly recommend! The place is super cute and clean, we were pleasantly surprised how decorated and nice this place looked once we got inside! Erica the owner was so funny, welcoming, informative, and sweet! The couples massage was great plus you get to be in the same room with your s/o! The facial was also good and felt relaxing. I truly loved this place and we both would come back in the future!

About This Deal

Swedish Massage: Four Steps to Relaxation

The gentle pressure of Swedish massage makes it a popular method for treating pain and stress. Read our guide—rather than Norse sagas—to learn what to expect.

Most Europeans refer to Swedish massage as classic massage, possibly because the technique did not originate in Sweden. In fact, the individual elements of the style can be traced to all parts of the world, but it was a Dutch practitioner who established the system that combines four distinct motions—whose names, as it happens, are mostly French: effleurage, petrissage, friction, and tapotement. Together, the motions help relieve muscle tension and stimulate blood flow, thereby energizing the body and soothing the mind during a single relaxing session.

The four phases are easy to distinguish. Effleurage refers to the smooth, gliding strokes that help relax soft tissues at the beginning of the treatment, followed by the squeezing, rolling, or kneading gestures of petrissage. Deep, circular motions make up the friction phase, in which layers of tissue rub against one another to boost circulation. Therapists conclude the massage with tapotement, a rapid cadence of percussive taps performed with cupped hands, fingers, or the edge of the hand.
