Boot camps chisel bodies in preparation for the beach in summer, and in winter strengthen arms to lift Christmas presents and pull stuck reindeer hooves out of gutters. Get fit for unexpected holiday tasks with today’s Groupon to Brooklyn Bad Ass Fitness, with locations on 7th Street and 36th Street. Choose from the following options:

  • For $19, you get 10 drop-in boot-camp classes (a $63.50 value).
  • For $35, you get 20 drop-in boot-camp classes (a $127 value).
  • For $45, you get 20 drop-in boot-camp classes and a meal plan (a $167 value).

Bryan “The Brooklyn Bad Ass” Ortiz of Brooklyn Bad Ass Fitness dons many hats—the headband of a certified personal trainer, the cushioned headgear of a boxing instructor, and the top hat of a fitness-book author. During morning and evening weekday boot camps, up to 20 students sweat through a variety of intense workouts, eschewing monotonous fitness routines such as treadmill running or elephant lifting. To complete lifestyle changes and steer bodies toward total fitness, clients can opt for the meal plan, which customizes diets to match energy requirements. After attending at least two classes, students can join Bryan on a Saturday-morning run across Manhattan Bridge, using their newly forged abs to frighten off any toll-demanding trolls.
