Q:

are all instructions included or is the and extra charge

joseph d.  asked on  Oct 26, 2012

A:

Hey Joseph, There is no instruction included in this deal, however it is very easy to book lessons on our website. Here's a link http://www.brooklynboulders.com/peak-performance-program-p3/book-a-p3-class/ As you'll see there is much you can learn, but your very first time to the gym will probably not require a lesson, just a few pointers from a staff member. When you get to the front desk just let them know its your first time and they'll hook you up!! If you have any other questions please call 347.834.9066 for a quick response. Have a great weeekend! -Lance

Q:

Is this good for someone who doesn't have any experience but wants to get into rock climbing? Do you also have to take classes first?

dori c.  asked on  Oct 25, 2012

A:

Hello Dori, You are right, you should take a class first, here is a link to the Learn the Ropes class booking page http://www.brooklynboulders.com/peak-performance-program-p3/book-a-p3-class/ However, if you're really anxious to come to BKB, you don't NEED a class to enjoy yourself the first time. Just ask for a "climber pro" to show you how to hang!! If you have any other questions please call 347.834.9066 for a quick response. Have a great weeekend! -Lance

Q:

Do kids (7-year-old) also need the shoes, harness, and bag? Is instruction free (are instructors on hand for kids) or do I need to sign up and pay for a class for my child?

Megan M.  asked on  Oct 25, 2012

A:

Hello Megan, Your child is probably an excellent climber already, so no class needed just yet. Gear will be needed and is only $10 if purchased separately from this deal. If you would like to use the ropes, please note that you will need to be trained to use them safely, and that class is not included in this deal. Also please note that the "Learn the Ropes" class is only available via prebooking on our website or here http://www.brooklynboulders.com/peak-performance-program-p3/book-a-p3-class/ If you have any other questions, please call us at 347.834.9066!
