Q:

Which, if any, of the packages have belay certification included?

Kyle M.  asked on  Feb 21, 2014

A:

According to the class description of the "Learn the Ropes" class, "You’ll leave with all the mandatory knowledge to be able to use the top ropes here at BKBS." You can read the description of the Learn the Ropes class by clicking here. The Learn the Ropes package is the second option offered when you click the Groupon Buy! button.

Q:

If I purchase the "Learn to Boulder" option, can I schedule the orientation and 30-minute class on the same day as my first climb? Also, how are groupon codes used in the online schedule form? Will the groupon code be considered a "promotion code" when scheduling BOTH the orientation and 30-minute class? Thank yoU!

Ania B.  asked on  Feb 20, 2014

A:

You're welcome to schedule your orientation and class on the same day as long as they're both available. Once you've purchased the Groupon, please follow the step-by-step redemption instructions on your Groupon voucher to book the package.

Q:

It says limit 1 per person and limit 1 per visit. Can a group of people each buy the $29 package and come together on the same day using their own groupon?

Shyam S.  asked on  Feb 21, 2014

A:

Yes, as long as there is availability and each person has their own Groupon. The limit of 1 Groupon per visit is per person.

Q:

I've come to BKB under a guest pass only. Does this mean I am not eligible for the 10-pack pass?

Sarah S.  asked on  Feb 20, 2014

A:

If you have checked into their system in the past, you would no longer be considered a new member. This Groupon is not valid if you have used their services in past 90 days.

Q:

For the 10-day pass, the answer to the two questions regarding when you need to use all 10 passes by was "Passes are intended to be used by the expiration date." This seems vague. A staff member at the gym told me that the 10-pack doesn't expire to his knowledge. Can we get a concrete answer on whether or not the 10-day passes MUST be used within 90 days?

Sarah S.  asked on  Feb 20, 2014

A:

The 10-pack credit does expire after 90 days.

Q:

If I buy the 29$ deal, I can bring someone with me correct? Will they have pay anything? It will be $29 for two people with the •Facility orientation and climbing introduction •One 30-minute class •Two full-day facility passes •Two gear rentals for shoes, harness, and chalk bag ??

Camilly A.  asked on  Feb 20, 2014

Sorry for the confusion. That option is not for two people. Vouchers should be used by the purchaser over separate visits.

Q:

Is the Learn to Boulder package for two people or one person? The Groupon states it is good for TWO full day passes and TWO gear and equipment sets. This means TWO people can attend?

Eldin K.  asked on  Feb 20, 2014

A:

For that option, vouchers should be used by the purchaser over two separate visits.

Q:

I only want to come one day with a friend. Is there any package like that? (I don't want a membership)

Shyam S.  asked on  Feb 20, 2014

A:

Very sorry, but there isn't an option for two people to go together unless you purchase the membership that includes guest passes. The other vouchers should be used by the purchaser over separate visits.
