What started as a father-son tribute to Dion and the Belmonts has flourished into the in-demand doo-wop act, The Bronx Wanderers. It's still Yo' Vinny and his sons Vinny the Kid and Nicky Stix, and now they've got a band and a bunch of audience favorites, like "In the Still of the Night," "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Sherry." You'll hear songs by Dion, Frankie Valli, Tony Orlando and Paul Anka, to name a few, sprinkled with some festive holiday tunes, at Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The Bronx Wanderers are one part oldies, two parts rock 'n' roll, and their harmonies and Jersey attitudes are always entertaining.
The Café at the Abdo New River Room is open one hour before the performance and during intermission. With walk-up service, the Café features sandwiches, salads, snacks and desserts for purchase that you can bring to your table. A full cash bar is also available.
