South Florida's own Symphony of the Americas delivers a sleighful of festive holiday music down the Broward Center chimney this season, complete with a visit from Santa Claus. Artistic director James Brooks-Bruzzese has put together a program of well-known classical Christmas works, along with some popular Yuletide tunes from the movies and elsewhere. You'll not only hear selections from Tchaikovsky's timeless Nutcracker Suite, but the orchestra is also set to perform upbeat standards like "Winter Wonderland," "Sleigh Ride," and a medley of familiar favorites like "Joy to the World," "Deck the Halls" and more.
