About Bruno’s Restaurant
In 1989, owner Tim Bruno opened the doors of Bruno’s Restaurant, presenting a menu of modern diner dishes served amid vintage accents such as wooden booths and a Wurlitzer jukebox. All week, early morning breakfasts provide much-needed sustenance with eggs, bacon, omelets, waffles, and pancakes. Soups and salads pave the way toward grilled cheese sandwiches, bacon cheeseburgers, and philly cheesesteaks. Meanwhile, entrees showcase an Italian inspiration, with plates of chicken marsala, eggplant parmigiana, roasted vegetables, and tortellini filling the ranks. The restaurant also offers classic shakes, malts, and bottomless coffee and encourages customers to bring their own beer or wine to sip as they sit on a patio and take in views of nearby Wissahickon Valley Park and beautiful, soaring pterodactyls.
