Swimmers are assigned to appropriate classes, and then learn at their own pace under the supervision of certified instructors
What You'll Get
- Certified instructors teach adults and children (6 months and older) in one of Buckler’s large warm-water pools. An initial individual assessment of each swimmer determines what level of class the student should be in. After assigning students to a class level, instructors teach swimming basics such as breath retention, strokes, and water safety skills. Swimmers are evaluated weekly and encouraged to proceed and learn at their own pace following the Red Cross Swim Kids Program. Parents are able to watch their children learn in the viewing lounge which features one-way viewing glass.

About Buckler Aquatics
Buckler Aquatics' Red Cross certified swim instructors teach kids ages six months and up the ways of the water in three large, clean, heated pools. For their youngest swimmers, they use the Buckler Method, a style of teaching designed for babies.
Swimmers are placed in classes based on ability to provide individualized instruction in a group setting. They focus on encouragement and simple technique corrections, allowing each swimmer to proceed at his or her own pace. Parents can observe all the pool fun through a one-way window adjacent to the pool, or join in the splashing during monthly free family swims.
