Swimmers are assigned to appropriate classes, and then learn at their own pace under the supervision of certified instructors
- Certified instructors teach adults and children (6 months and older) in one of Buckler’s large warm-water pools. An initial individual assessment of each swimmer determines what level of class the student should be in. After assigning students to a class level, instructors teach swimming basics such as breath retention, strokes, and water safety skills. Swimmers are evaluated weekly and encouraged to proceed and learn at their own pace following the Red Cross Swim Kids Program. Parents are able to watch their children learn in the viewing lounge which features one-way viewing glass.
