Q:

The rules read that I can buy more than one as a gift, but it also reads all treatments purchased must be used by the same person. If it is a one time treatment, why would you purchase more than one or can I purchase two and use for two different people?

rachelle p.  asked on  Jun 19, 2012

A:

Rachelle, basically in a nutshell you can not by two for yourself. So if you purchase one for yourself then you would be the one using it however if you purchased one as gift then the recipient would be the one using it. I hope that makes sense and sorry about any confusion.

Q:

Will I require any x-rays or exam prior to the whitening that I could be charged for?

lauren r.  asked on  Jun 19, 2012

A:

Hello Lauren. X-rays are not required before you can get the whitening procedure done. However, Dr. Buckley will do a quick examat no additional charge to make sure that you do not have any cavities or gum diease. If you have any of these issues it is not advised that you have this whitening procedure done as it can cause a great deal of sensitivity.

Q:

Which is the whitening procedure? Is she using laser or the special GEL and light? Would like more details about the procedure, long of session? Will be just one appointment? . Thank you.

ANGELA J.  asked on  Jun 19, 2012

A:

Hello Angela. Both Whiter image and Boost are in office whitening systems. Whiter image has a lesser whitening mixture ( 35%) and Boost has a greater whitening mixture (40%) and neither of them use a laser or a light. Whiter Image and Boost both from start to finish can take about an hour and a half to two hours. This time frame includes preparing you for the procedure and other variables, which depends on each patient. The in office whitening is complete in one visit.
