We individualize all the matches with the host families. We get a detailed profile of all the dogs. Since we have such a variety of host families, we are able to match dogs of all breeds and ages, and those with a variety of needs.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I never wanted to leave my dog in a kennel and was looking for an environment for him that was similar to mine. It was very difficult to find the perfect home to leave him while I was away.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with other dog lovers.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
They told us that they never took vacations since adopting their dog because they weren't comfortable leaving him. Once they met our host family and fell in love with them, their lives have a changed. They are now traveling and visiting family. They know their dog is well cared for and loved.
