What You'll Get

After hunting the Pegasus to extinction, early humans attempted to create the next flying edible beast by stitching wings to buffalo, though it was centuries before the buffalo developed an immunological tolerance to grafts of extra-spicy chicken skin. Celebrate their ingenuity with today's Groupon: $35 worth of all-American fare and drinks at Buffalo Wings & Rings South Beach for $15. You can use your Groupon toward daily specials and during happy hour, including 99-cent drafts every day from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. and the $3.99 Grand Slam Breakfast available all day. Invite your entire rag-tag team of lovable misfits and patiently explain to them why they'll never beat the snooty rich-kid team.
As its name subtly hints, this South Beach sports bar prides itself on its buffalo-derived wings, which come big, boneless, breaded, and range from mild to atomic on the tongue-melting scale. You can supplement your wings of choice with any of nine different sauces, including original, sweet barbecue, teriyaki, and the mildly intimidating “crazy.” Engage in a little mad-sciencery of your own by mixing and matching for up to 45 different combinations of sauces.
If your wings don't provide sufficient deep-fried bliss, Buffalo Wings & Rings' starters menu will supplement them with breaded fried pickles, jalapeno poppers, and onion rings. Dinner and lunch options include classic sports-bar Americana such as the NY jumbo hot dog ($5.99), burger bites ($8.99), and the fire-grilled 12-ounce sirloin ($17.49), along with that most American of late-night snacks: Greek gyros.
To keep you from accidentally eating your own fingers when they turn a deceptively delicious shade of orange, Buffalo Wings & Rings thoughtfully diverts your attention with 38 high-definition TVs and enough space for a herd of buffa-chickens to graze. You'll find the sports bar amply fulfills its primary function: making sure you can see the fear in the quarterback’s eyes when his blocking fails, without some dude effectively blocking you from the screen. The boisterous atmosphere also makes Buffalo Wings & Rings the ideal environment for talking loudly, trading high fives, and second-guessing those morons on TV with the flags and whistles.
You can use one Groupon per table, or two for tables of four or more.
Reviewers at MenuPages give the food three stars and love the atmosphere:
- “It's about time they came to South Beach. I LOVE the wings and tenders” – Wingman, MenuPages
- We got a real Irish kid as our waiter (he even had red hair), he was clearly on top of his game, as soon as we were seated we received water. Quickly followed by our drinks order, in no time our food order was processed. We gladly paid his tip, he was so friendly.” – Boston, MenuPages
