Buffalo Wings & Rings
Buffalo Wings & Rings, which bills itself as a "club-level sports restaurant," got its start in the sports-obsessed city of Cincinnati in 1984. At first, it was simply a place where sports fans gathered to watch the Bengals or Reds while chowing down on buffalo wings slathered in housemade sauces. Three decades later, however, it evolved into a thriving sports-pub franchise located around the country.
It upgraded to its modern sports-pub style in 2013, adding bright, airy dining rooms outfitted with more than 50 TVs. It also expanded the menu over the years, introducing hamburgers, wraps, and salads. But wings coated in sauces such as roasted garlic and cool wasabi still remain the most popular items.
