Q:

Is this location better than the Killeen location? A week ago I ate there and the food was cold, then the crab in the sushi tasted like imitation crab. I tried to ask the sushi chef a question and he only spoke Spanish!!!! Not even some form of Asian language which I would be acceptable.

Howard  asked on  Sep 17, 2013

A:

Since our restaurant is trying to keep prices reasonable, we use imitation crabmeat like most of the sushi restaurants. However, we do use higher quality imitation crabmeat just like what the sushi restaurants use just for the sushi rolls. Even at expensive sushi restaurants, unless the menus specify that they are using 100% real crabmeat, they are using imitation crabmeat. If the food was cold, please let the server know, we will cook some more fresh.

Q:

The email ad listed this deal as $10 for $20, yet the link is now $11.50. What's the deal? That's pretty misleading.

Timothy W.  asked on  Sep 17, 2013

A:

I'm very sorry for any confusion. This deal has been really popular, and because we don't have many Groupons left for it, the price is higher for the remaining ones. In general, we can only guarantee that a deal will remain at the same price for an entire day. Prices may change from day to day, so make sure to check the site often to get the best deal.

Q:

I love Chinese food but I need to be very careful because of food allergies. Is everything clearly marked as to what it is? Is any Peanut Oil used? If I ask someone for the ingredients will they be able to tell me?

JOLEEN H.  asked on  Sep 16, 2013

A:

We do not cook with peanut oil. We do have kungpao chicken and Asian Caesar salad that have peanuts. Since this is a buffet restaurant there is a possibility that a customer might accidentally use a spoon to pick up food items without restaurant's knowledge. Even at national chain restaurant,Chili's, it lists on its menu, "Please be aware that during normal kitchen operations involving shared cooking and preparation areas, including common fryer oil, the possibility exists for food items to come in contact with other food products. Due to these circumstances, we are unable to guarantee that any menu entrée can be completely free of allergens."
