Q&A with the Marketing Manager
In your own words, how would you describe your menu?
Several styles are brewed at Bull Falls Brewery, making the family of beers appealing to the craft beer aficionado and novice alike. Many of our beers are traditional malt forward lagers and ales, to include our IPA made with locally grown Wisconsin hops, all with great flavor & drinkability.
Do you adhere to any sustainable or eco-friendly practices?
Spent grain is picked up by a local farmer to use as feed for cattle and pigs. Additionally, water used in the brewing process is routed & able to be reused in the next batch, thereby preventing large amounts of water from going down the drain.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn’t cover?
Events. Throughout the year, many events are held in the taproom and the lively and fun Bull Falls biergarten. From jazz nights to beer fests, be sure to check out the calendar of events. This year, we started hosting a fitness class in the brewhouse. “Butts N Brews” serves as a great motivator to earn that beer at the end of class! Additionally, the brewery is very involved with many community fundraisers, including the Boys & Girls club, Never Forgotten Honor Flight, and March of Dimes.
Bulls Falls Brewery is known for a traditional European, made to style approach to brewing. Many of these authentic beers include purely German ingredients. After many years of studying the history of the brewing process, including several trips to Germany for applying first hand attention, co-owner and brewmaster Mike Zamzow’s philosophy is “to make traditional beers better than they’ve ever been made.” Thus, the tagline: Brewed True in Wausau, WI.
Bull Falls Brewery beers are available in the Green Bay area and surrounding markets, as well as many locations stretching from Sheboygan to Hudson, the Wausau area, the twin cities market and southeastern Minnesota.
