What You'll Get
Live music during mealtime brings new life to the flavors being devoured, inspiring diners to begin a poem for their appetizer and finish the final stanza over dessert. Start an epic feast with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of American fare and drinks at Burbank Bar & Grille on San Fernando Boulevard in Burbank.
Burbank Bar & Grille offers up a California-inspired menu to satiate sighing stomachs. The vivacious venue is framed with high-backed booths, oversized artwork, and a bar lined with a plethora of TV screens. Taste buds are tickled by such dishes as the sautéed teriyaki filet tips ($8.95) or the warm-goat-cheese-and-apple salad composed of mixed greens, raspberry vinaigrette, green apples, breaded goat cheese, and a sprinkle of roasted pine nuts ($11.95). Night hawks and evening falconers can dig into Burbank’s late-night menu, which features soul-warming fare, such as fish tacos served on red and green cabbage, pico de gallo, and cilantro-lime sauce ($7.95) or potato skins hollowed out and filled with cheese and bacon, side kicked by a dynamic duo of blue cheese and ranch dressing ($8.95). An extensive wine list is also on hand, sure to wet wilting whistles into singing sultry tunes and beat-box sonatas.
Set bodies in melodic motion with the live, nightly entertainment played on Burbank’s indoor main stage. There, decades of extremity-tapping tunes unfold as local acoustic artists croon outside on the intimate fire-pit patio. For shower songstresses and late-night lamenters, the Thursday-night karaoke gives a platform to voice hidden heartaches or release pop-star alter egos.
- Even the late night menu is plentiful at Burbank Bar & Grille, where much of the attraction is the nightly live entertainment, indoors or on the patio. But the food is also serious business here – Gayot
- If you like live music, food, drinks and an overall good live atmosphere to chill in, this is the place. – Ryan B., Yelp, 4/24/08
