Crafted by a team of UW-Madison meat- and food-science students, the secret burger recipe at Burger House 41 utilizes a variety of premium Angus beef cuts, complementing hand-pattied and made fresh-to-order burgers with local ingredients, ranging from the Sheboygan-style hard rolls to Wisconsin-crafted cheeses and frozen custard.
The resulting menu, which has earned them a finalist spot in the 2015 Best of the Bay Reader's Choice award for new restaurants, features more than 20 signature craft burgers and seasonal specialties. The Farm House Burger, for instance, consists of a quarter-pound beef patty and Wisconsin cheddar topped with premium bacon and an over-medium egg. Beyond burgers, Burger House 41 serves Johnsonville brats, chicken sandwiches, fish dinners, chili fries, onion rings, Wisconsin white cheddar cheese curds, savory chili, and gourmet creamy milkshakes, plus a rotating selection of local Wisconsin craft beers.
